Glassware designed for synthesis
Synthware® has been designing laboratory glassware since 1992. The catalogue reads differently from a general labware catalogue: alongside the flasks and condensers you would expect, it is unusually deep in the apparatus that synthetic and organometallic chemistry depends on.
Schlenk flasks and tubes, vacuum manifolds, solvent stills, sublimation apparatus, Kuderna-Danish concentrators, peptide synthesis vessels, microscale kits down to single-millilitre reaction vials — these are the pieces that are hard to source, and they are the core of the range rather than an afterthought.
Everything is made from borosilicate 3.3, drawn from high-quality European glass tubing, and built to the standard taper and spherical joint series so it interchanges with the glassware already on your bench.
One material, one joint system. Because the whole range shares borosilicate 3.3 and standard joints, pieces bought years apart still fit together — and you can replace a single component instead of a whole setup.

Specialities
The parts of the catalogue that are hard to find elsewhere
Schlenk and vacuum line
Schlenk flasks and tubes, double manifolds in a range of port counts, high-vacuum valves with PTFE stems, vacuum traps and cold fingers. If you run air-sensitive chemistry, this is where the range is strongest — over 60 items across the Schlenk categories alone.
Microscale apparatus
Conical reaction vials, spin vanes, heat transfer blocks, microscale condensers, columns and distillation heads. Proper miniaturised apparatus for milligram and single-millilitre chemistry, not scaled-down teaching glassware.
Stills, sublimators, extractors
Solvent stills for drying and degassing, sublimation apparatus with cold fingers, Soxhlet extractors and Kuderna-Danish concentrators. The apparatus for getting material clean, rather than just making it.
Stopcocks and valves
One-, two- and three-way stopcocks in both solid glass and PTFE plug, straight-bore, T-bore and oblique-bore configurations, metering valves, and PTFE-protected vacuum plugs with retention kits. Replacement plugs and O-rings are listed separately.
Chromatography and filtration
Chromatography columns with and without fritted discs, Büchner and filter funnels across the standard porosity grades, gas dispersion tubes and Gooch crucibles. Grade selection is covered in the porosity guide.
Pressure and reaction vessels
Thick-walled pressure vessels, In-Ex tube reactors, peptide synthesis vessels and NMR apparatus. Specialist items that rarely appear in a general catalogue at all.

Yes. Laboxin distributes Synthware, and every item in the Synthware range is original Synthware glassware.
Where do you ship, and what does it cost?
We ship worldwide from Lidingö, Sweden, with UPS, and every parcel is insured. The cost is calculated at checkout from your items and destination, and the shipping cost chart shows typical prices. Customs duties and import charges on deliveries outside the EU are paid by the buyer.
Is it in stock, or made to order?
Availability varies by item. After you order, we tell you the lead time and when your order is scheduled for delivery.
What if something arrives broken?
Every shipment is insured. Photograph the parcel as you open it and the damaged items, and contact us within one week of receiving it. We process the claim with the shipping company, which issues the refund for the damaged goods. How damage claims work.
Can you source something not listed?
The Synthware catalogue is larger than the selection listed here. If you need a size, port configuration or joint combination you cannot find in the shop, send us the specification and we will tell you whether it can be sourced.
